The Government has welcomed the new ranking of the global Corruption Perception Index with officials promising to score higher next time.

Bribery on the decrease – report

Incidences of bribery decreased slightly from 24.4 per cent last year to 23.9 per cent this year, Rwanda Bribery Index 2017 report shows. At least 2,385 respondents took part in the survey.

New initiative seeks to promote transparency in climate projects.

A €91,297 (about Rwf91m) project has been launched with view to ensure that corruption does not undermine climate change mitigation efforts as well as effective and equitable allocation of climate finance in the country.
