Rwanda has registered significant gains in its fight against corruption, with new findings from the Rwanda Bribery Index (RBI) 2025 showing a sharp decline in bribery encounters and growing public confidence in anti-corruption efforts.
The 16th edition of the index, released by Transparency International Rwanda (TI-Rwanda) in Kigali on Wednesday, highlights a clear shift in both perception and lived experience, positioning Rwanda among Africa’s top performers in curbing bribery.
