Project title : Informing and Engaging Rwandan Citizens to prevent and fight corruption (PPIMA : Public Policy Information Monitoring and Advocacy)

Geographic coverage : The project is covering five districts : Musanze, Huye, Kayonza, Rusizi and Rubavu and the City of Kigali. However, there are research activities which sometime cover other districts rather than the above ones, depending on where the research activities have covered.

Moreover, the project benefits also all Rwandan citizens who will benefit from researches conducted in any sector whose findings will serve for advocacy with the aim of improving service delivery in that sector. Especially the RBI (Rwanda Bribery Index) which is a research conducted every year.

ALAC

A project called ALAC (Advocacy and Legal Advice Center) which receives complaints from citizens, victims or witnesses of corruption and other related offense and provide them legal assistance. Further, ALAC advocate for a legislative, institutional, administrative procedural or any other systemic change where it is found that those systems are faulty and may be among the causes that facilitates corruption behaviors. They are five ALAC centers in four provinces of Rwanda and at the Headquarters of Transparency International Rwanda.
